Explosion-proof electric heater is an internationally popular high-quality long-life electric heating equipment. It is used for heating, maintaining temperature, and warming flowing liquid or gaseous media. When the heating medium passes through the heating chamber of the electric heater under pressure, it uniformly removes the huge heat generated by the electric heating elements during operation using fluid thermodynamics principles, raising the temperature of the heated medium to meet the user's process requirements. The following mainly introduces the working principle and explosion-proof principle of the explosion-proof electric heater:
I. Working Principle of Explosion-Proof Heater:
The explosion-proof electric heater is a device that converts electrical energy into thermal energy to heat the material to be heated. During operation, the low-temperature fluid medium enters the input port under pressure through the pipeline, flows along the specific heat exchange channels inside the electric heating container, following the path designed using fluid thermodynamics principles, and removes the high-temperature thermal energy generated by the electric heating elements during operation, raising the temperature of the heated medium. The outlet of the electric heater provides the high-temperature medium required by the process. The internal control system of the electric heater automatically adjusts the output power of the electric heater based on the temperature sensor signal at the outlet, ensuring uniform temperature of the medium at the outlet. When the heating element overheats, the independent overheat protection device immediately cuts off the heating power supply, preventing the heated material from overheating, coking, deteriorating, or carbonizing, which could otherwise damage the heating element, effectively extending the service life of the electric heater.
II. Explosion-Proof Principle of Explosion-Proof Heater:
Explosion-proof electric heaters are generally used in hazardous locations where explosions may occur. Due to the presence of various flammable and explosive oils, gases, dust, etc., in the surrounding environment, contact with electric sparks can cause explosions. Therefore, heating in such environments requires the use of explosion-proof heaters. The main explosion-proof measure of the explosion-proof heater is the installation of an explosion-proof device in the junction box of the heater, eliminating the risk of ignition from electric sparks. For different heating scenarios, the explosion-proof level requirements of the heater vary, depending on the specific situation.
