Explosion-proof Temperature SensorProduct Features:
Industrial flameproof platinum resistance is a temperature sensor. It is widely used in industrial automatic control systems. Through the temperature sensor, the temperature parameter of the controlled object can be converted into an electrical signal, which is transmitted to display, recording, and regulating instruments for detection, regulation, and control of the system.
In chemical plants and production sites, various flammable and explosive chemical gases and vapors are often present. If ordinary platinum resistance is used, it is very unsafe and can easily cause environmental gas explosions. Therefore, in these occasions, flameproof thermocouples must be used as temperature sensors. The flameproof platinum resistance products produced by our factory are suitable for use in places with explosive gas hazards within the temperature group range of dIIBT4 to dIICT6.
They are usually used in conjunction with display instruments, recording instruments, and electronic computers. They directly measure the temperature of liquids, steam, gas media, and solid surfaces within the range of 0-1300℃ in various production processes.
Working Principle:
The structure and principle of flameproof thermal resistors and assembled thermal resistors are basically the same. The difference is that the junction box (housing) of flameproof products adopts a special explosion-proof structure in design. The junction box is die-cast from high-strength aluminum alloy, and has sufficient internal space, wall thickness, and mechanical strength. The thermal stability of the rubber sealing ring complies with national explosion-proof standards. When an explosion occurs inside, the internal pressure will not damage the junction box, and the resulting thermal energy cannot spread outward - preventing explosion propagation.
Due to the adoption of the above special explosion-proof structure, the product fully complies with the use of explosion-proof groups from dIIBT4 to dIICT6. As long as users strictly follow the product usage rules, the product can achieve reliable explosion-proof effects.
The explosion-proof principle utilizes the gap flameproof principle. Components such as the junction box with sufficient strength are designed to seal all parts that may produce sparks, arcs, and dangerous temperatures inside the junction box. When an explosion occurs inside the cavity, the flame can be extinguished and cooled through the joint gap, so that the flame and temperature after the explosion are not transmitted outside the cavity.
