Stainless steel double-head electric heating tube is made of metal tube as the shell, with spiral electric heating alloy wire (nickel-chromium, iron-chromium alloy) uniformly distributed along the central axis, and the gap is filled and compacted with magnesium oxide sand having good insulation and thermal conductivity. 2. Product Performance
Stainless steel electric heating tube is made by placing electric heating elements in a metal tube and tightly filling the gaps with crystalline magnesium oxide powder that has good heat resistance, thermal conductivity, and insulation, and then processed through other processes. It has the characteristics of simple structure, high mechanical strength, high thermal efficiency, easy installation, and long service life. It is widely used in various devices such as nitrate tanks, water tanks, oil tanks, acid and alkali tanks, fusible metal melting furnaces, air heating furnaces, drying furnaces, drying boxes, hot pressing molds, etc.
3. Precautions for Using Electric Heating Tubes
1) The element should be stored in a dry place. If the insulation resistance drops below 1 megohm due to long-term storage, it can be dried in an oven at about 200°C for several hours (or pass low voltage through the element for several hours) to restore the insulation resistance.
2) If carbon deposits are found on the tube surface, they must be removed before use to avoid reducing efficiency or even burning out the element.
3) When melting solid oils such as asphalt and paraffin, the voltage should be reduced during use, and then increased to the rated voltage after melting. This prevents concentration of electric power and reduces the service life of the element.
