How to Judge the Quality of Electric Heating Tubes?




Quality has always been a major concern for heating tube users, so many people are eager to know how to determine the quality of electric heating tubes. Let me tell you, there is no fixed standard for judging the quality of electric heating tubes; it is determined by many factors. Today we will look at how to judge the quality of electric heating tubes?



1. Material Selection:



Different heating environments require different material choices:



1. For normal water heating, use stainless steel 304; for weak acid and weak alkaline liquids, use stainless steel 316L; for strong acid and strong alkali, use Teflon-coated material.



2. For oil heating, stainless steel 304 or iron material can be used.



3. Air heating is special; different materials are chosen based on temperature.



(1) For working temperatures below 300°C, use stainless steel 304;



(2) For air dry-burning electric heating tubes with working temperatures below 500°C, use stainless steel 321;



(3) For air dry-burning electric heating tubes with working temperatures below 800°C, use stainless steel 310S;



 



 



2. Power Design:



Because the power design of electric heating tubes varies with different usage environments, we normally measure it by power per meter (i.e., how much power can be achieved per meter of heating zone).



(1) For water heating, the power per meter is between 1-3;



(2) For oil heating, the power per meter is between 1-2;



(3) For air heating, the power per meter is between 1-1.5; beyond this range, the higher the power, the shorter the lifespan.



Therefore, to judge whether the quality of an electric heating tube is good, all the above factors must be considered, and none can be omitted.
