The essential difference between electromagnetic heaters and quartz tube heaters is that they save electricity, heat up quickly, and are energy-saving and environmentally friendly. So why do electromagnetic heaters save more electricity than quartz tube heaters? There are mainly two reasons.
First, quartz tube heating relies on heat transfer. According to the law of conservation of heat, a portion of heat is lost during the transfer process. In contrast, electromagnetic heaters cause the metal object (the barrel) to generate heat itself, so there is no heat energy loss, making them more energy-efficient.
Second, the surface of a quartz tube heater contacts the air, transferring a large amount of heat to the air, resulting in significant heat energy waste. In contrast, an electromagnetic induction heater first wraps the barrel with insulation material, then winds the electromagnetic heating coil around the insulation. The electromagnetic waves generated by the coil pass through the insulation to heat the barrel itself. Meanwhile, due to the insulation, the generated heat cannot escape into the air, so all the heat is used for production heating. The effective heat energy utilization rate of quartz tube heaters is 60%, while that of electromagnetic heaters is over 95%. Therefore, electromagnetic heaters save more electricity than quartz tube heaters.
