| Air Electric Heater (Duct Type) |
|
I. Introduction to Duct Electric Heater Duct heaters are mainly used for heating air in air ducts. The specifications are divided into low temperature, medium temperature, and high temperature three types. Structurally, they share the common feature of using steel plates to support the electric heating tubes to reduce vibration. The junction box is equipped with an over-temperature control device. In terms of control, in addition to over-temperature protection, an interlock device is installed between the fan and the heater to ensure that the heater starts only after the fan starts. A differential pressure device is added before and after the heater to prevent fan failure. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater should generally not exceed 0.3 Kg/cm2. If it needs to exceed the above pressure, please choose circulation electric heater. The maximum heating temperature for low-temperature heaters does not exceed 160°C; for medium-temperature, it does not exceed 260°C; for high-temperature, it does not exceed 500°C. II. Application Fields: Air electric heaters are mainly used to heat the required air flow from the initial temperature to the desired air temperature, up to 650°C. They have been widely used in heating ducts, drying tunnels, drying rooms, and drying equipment, etc. Particularly suitable for automatic temperature control and high-flow high-temperature heaters. Air electric heaters have a wide range of applications; they can heat any gas, producing hot air that is dry, non-conductive, non-combustible, non-explosive, non-corrosive, non-polluting, safe and reliable, and the heated space heats up quickly (controllable). III. Technical Features 1. Can heat air to very high temperatures, up to 450°C, while the shell temperature is only about 50°C. 2. High efficiency: up to 0.9 or more. 3. Fast heating and cooling rates, up to 10°C/s, with quick and stable adjustment. No lead or lag in controlled air temperature, preventing temperature control drift, making it very suitable for automatic control. 4. Good mechanical performance: because the heating element is made of special alloy material, under the impact of high-pressure air flow, it has better mechanical performance and strength than any other heating element, which is advantageous for systems and accessory tests requiring continuous air heating over long periods. 5. Durable: with strict adherence to operating procedures, the service life can reach over ten years. 6. Clean air, environmentally friendly. 7. Can provide design solutions and customize multiple types of air electric heaters according to actual user needs. IV. Specifications and Models Power ranges from 2KW to 800KW series.
Usage Instructions:
In terms of control, an interlock device must be added between the fan and the heater to ensure that the heater starts only after the fan starts. After the heater stops working, the fan must continue to run for at least 3 minutes to prevent overheating and damage to the heater. For single-circuit wiring, it must comply with NEC standards, and the current of each branch must not exceed 48A. The gas pressure heated by the duct heater should generally not exceed 0.3 kg/cm2. If it needs to exceed the above pressure specification, please choose a circulation heater. The maximum heating temperature for low-temperature heaters does not exceed 160°C; for medium-temperature, it does not exceed 260°C; for high-temperature, it does not exceed 500°C. |
