How to Solve Abnormalities in Thermal Oil Electric Heaters?

Thermal oil electric heaters adopt closed-loop heat supply, transporting heat energy in liquid phase, with low heat loss, significant energy-saving effect, and good environmental protection performance. Due to the tubular structure, the heating surface is sufficient, giving it a high thermal efficiency.

Now, regarding possible abnormalities during the use of such products, the following analysis is provided:

Abnormality 1: When the current of the circulation pump is lower than normal, the efficiency and flow rate of the circulation pump decrease.

Cause: It may be caused by scaling and blockage in the heating pipeline.

Solution: Clean and remove the blockage.

Abnormality 2: The pump pressure remains unchanged, the current increases, but the flow rate decreases.

Cause: It may be caused by the deterioration of thermal oil, resulting in increased viscosity.

Solution: Replace or regenerate the thermal oil in time, and pay attention to venting.

Abnormality 3: The current value of the circulation pump decreases, and the outlet pump pressure returns to zero, indicating that the pump is running dry without oil supply.

Cause: It may be caused by vaporization of the thermal oil. Identify the cause of vaporization and take corresponding measures.

Solution: If the circulation pump is running dry due to filter blockage, immediately open the bypass to clean the filter;

If it is caused by water contained in newly added thermal oil or gas from water decomposition not being expelled from the system, immediately open the vent valve to release the gas.

Abnormality 4: When the pressure difference across the filter increases and the pump inlet pressure decreases,

Cause: It may be due to filter screen blockage.

Solution: Open the bypass, remove the filter, and clean it.
